Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Engineer to cover a territory from Southeast Chicago to Northwest Indiana. The ideal candidate would have mechanical experience in the compressed air or HVAC industries, and would have experience with engineering a technical solution for their customers.

Responsibilities/Duties

Lead Generation

  • Generate additional leads on top of leads generated by the Business Development department thru vicinity contacts, referrals and networking.

Lead Conversion

  • Convert leads generated by the Business Development department by following a sales process that includes site visits, system assessments, quoting and closing of sales

Project Management

  • See thru projects to completion including coordinating the installation if that was part of the sale
  • Complete all paperwork associated with the project including any utility rebate

Follow-Up

  • Follow-up is the key to successful sales procedures.
  • Follow-up of leads, follow-up of quotes
  • Follow-up on completed projects
  • Asking for referrals

Data Entry

  • Enter data into the Salesforce ERP System, including but not limited to: appointments, tasks, quotes, sales orders & projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
